It’s a record! The largest Interact Club of Omega International School has been inaugurated at the campus by the Rotary Club of Madras.

Honorable dignitaries: Governor of the Rotary Club Rotarian R. Srinivasan, Assistant Governor Rotarian Yadav Murthy, Secretary Rotarian Nikhil Raj, Rotarian Seshasai, Honorary Consul of Seychelles and also the Youth Director of the Rotary Club and Rotarian Gunashekar, the Past President of the Rotary Club attended the inaugural program. Student of Grades 8 to 12 were part of this inaugural session.

The session highlighted on the need to create awareness of social, economic and the environmental issues and also stressed on the involvement from the students. Chandrodaya, Omega’s Interact Club is the largest Interact Club in the world and will correlate work with the Rotary Club, which is the 3rd oldest welfare Club in India and the oldest welfare club in South India. Chandrodaya, aims to take up current issues persisting in the locality.

The student office bearers were honored by the respected Rotarians.
Siddhant Nair, the elected President of the Rotary Club was awarded a collar /medal as a mark of recognition.
